Pure-tone audiometry on Android

Pure-tone audiometry is the basic hearing test consisting in determination of the hearing loss in relation to the sound frequency. Calibration coefficients defining the electroacoustic parameters of the device and its headphones are taken from the database or are determined on the basis of calibration carried out by a normal-hearing person.

Wrocław Laboratories of Macromolecular Aggregates

As a result of an effort of a local consortium (Wrocław University of Sciences and Technology, University of Wrocław, Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences) finances for the completion of the project entitled Lower Silesia Centre of Advanced Technologies. Upgrading of Laboratory of Macromolecular Aggregates have been obtained. Laboratory objectives are:

  1. Design, optimization and analysis of aggregated drug formulations.
  2. Providing services for pharmaceutical industry by designing and optimization of aggregated forms of drug formulations using biophysical tests in vitro and fate of an aggregate in vivo.
  3. Formation of the network of reference laboratories capable to provide services on studies of aggregated forms of drugs.
